Have you ever tried cooking in Arabic? The Syrian kitchen is a treasure chest full of delightful flavours, colours, and fragrances. Cooking courses are available with Syrian chefs or in family homes. You will be taught how to cook traditional Syrian dishes and learn Arabic kitchen vocabulary. Special courses in poetry, literature, religion etc can also be arranged on a private basis. Please contact us if you are interested in taking a cooking course or if you have other special course requests.

Excursions are arranged on a regular basis. A designated coordinator organizes excursions in the area around Damascus, to other towns and locations in Syria, and to neighbouring Jordan and Lebanon. Archaeological sites, ancient history, crusader castles, modern cities, colourful markets, desert oasis, Mediterranean beaches – Syria holds a vast range of destinations.
