The Arabic language and culture are not simply learnt in the class room; you need to live the language and immerse in the local community. Volunteer work is an entrance to the Moroccan society. It is also a means to contribute to important development work.
Together with our partner Language Institute, we work to provide you with a suitable volunteer position at a local organisation in Fez. The organisations work to improve the lives of vulnerable children/youths, and women. Volunteer work is available at orphanages, a centre for disabled children, and at women’s shelters. Volunteer work usually entails a few hours of work every week, besides your Arabic language classes.
Volunteering in Fez means living and working alongside local people and gaining a better understanding of the Moroccan dialect, culture, and social conditions. We work through our local partners to match your interests with suitable volunteer opportunities.
