The Language Institute is located in the heart of Amman, in the neighborhood of the University of Jordan. The active, vivid, and safe university area hosts all types of restaurants, shops, and a fairly big shopping mall, serving a large student population of around 40,000 students.

There is a sports club (gym) for women in the same building as the Language Institute. Public outdoor swimming pools are available nearby. You can also access swimming pools at 4 or 5 star hotels.

In addition to Arabic language studies at the Language Institute, you can participate in cultural and social activities. You will be encouraged to meet and interact with Jordanian people; to immerse in the very fabric of the Jordanian society, gaining an insider´s view of Jordanians lives.

Guided tours are arranged upon request to major historical and cultural sites in Jordan. By taking part in these tours, you will strengthen your Arabic language, while enjoying and exploring Jordan´s magnificent historical attractions.

If you are a student and you hold a valid International Student Identity Card (ISIC) you may be eligible for discounts of entry fees for all museums and sites in Jordan.
