Students taking an Arabic course in Beirut this spring are invited to an unforgettable excursion to the Jeita Grotto, ‘Maghaarat J3aitaa’. These marvelous lime stone caves are located 18 kilometres north of Beirut. The caves channel an underground river; entrance is only possibly by boat. The caves span over a length of 9 kilometres, and house the world’s largest stalactite. The cave galleries are composed of a series of chambers, the largest of which peaks at a height of 120 metres. The Jeita Grotto offers spectacular views, not without giving you the thrill!
Criteria:
- Minimum course duration 2 weeks (min. number of lessons: 30)
- Course start before 1 May 2012.
