New business idea in Cairo: home-delivery shisha
There is no lack of shisha (water pipe) places in Cairo. Restaurants and cafes market themselves with strange designs and lucrative new flavor mixes to grab the attention, but one domain was until recently left unexplored: home delivery.
In a city where anything from medicine to iced coffee and groceries can be ordered to your home, Shisha Express Delivery, now offers a shisha delivery man knocking on your door within 30 to 45 minutes from your order. The shisha comes with the hagar, or shisha tobacco, already packed. The deliveryman set up the water pipe within minutes, expertly place the coals, leaving a large container of lit coals behind for the client to use by her/himself. When the shisha-smoking is over, the delivery man returns upon a phone call to pick up the shisha.
A reminder to shisha-smokers, no matter how fruity it may taste it's nonetheless tobacco and harming your health.
